The fall season is here! If you’re like me, you enjoyed the closing days of summer but couldn’t wait to begin enjoying the fun pleasures of fall. Décor, fashion, and the wonderful scents—ooh the scents! One thing that is crucial to fall are the snacks. Give me all the seasonal fall snacks!
The fall season looks and feels different for many reasons. For some of us, the weather is into a cooler pattern, which means sweaters. For others of us, the weather is still warm. The fall snacks and fun eats that I am sharing allow for customization. For example, if your weather is still warm and not conducive to hot beverages, you can switch it up to enjoy chilled versions. See my Christmas in July post to see how. It’s all about doing what works for you!
The top 5 fall snack finds…
Pumpkin Spice Cheerios
This limited-edition cereal has firmly secured a place as my top grocery store find. I LOVE these Cheerios. They taste more like a sweet spice than heavily pumpkin, so it should be a hit selection regardless of where you fall on the pumpkin spice flavor spectrum. So far, I’ve only seen the cereal in Target, but it may be available elsewhere. Check your local listings!
Bigelow Pumpkin Spice Tea
What’s better than getting a black tea energy boost? Especially when it has a rich pumpkin spice flavor? Mmmm…can you smell the flavor? Now, we all know that the Pumpkin Spice Latte (aka PSL) gets all the love. For black tea, my heart belongs to Chai. However, I like the bit of extra flavor from the pumpkin spice. If nothing else, it’s the perfect beverage for chilly fall mornings and to get you into the season!
Belvita Pumpkin Spice
Speaking of a boost, how about some cookies to give you “4 hours of continuous energy”? Enter Belvita Pumpkin Spice. As with everything else, this is a limited-edition product. Again, I found these boxes at Target. Let me tell you a quick story. I discovered Belvita for the first time on an airplane. It was one of those flights that was just long enough to receive a snack. My sister and I both had the same reaction—where had these been all our lives?! LOL. When I got back to my home, I immediately bought a few boxes. I may or may not have needed a break from it. With Pumpkin Spice, I may have rekindled my Belvita fandom. I’m only sad that my nearest Target continues to be out of stock. At the same time, I guess I can share the goodness with all of you!
Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Swirl Bread
When one thinks of fall-themed carbs, you think about donuts right? While that’s a delicious seasonal treat (especially apple cider), there are other items to consider. A favorite that has emerged for me is pumpkin swirl bread by Pepperidge Farm. Apparently, Pepperidge Farm has been making yummy swirl breads for a while. Yes, I’m late but in my defense, I am not a huge fan of bread and pastries. However, this bread was enough to give me all that I ne
Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter
What goes with toast, smoothies, apples, or celery? Peanut butter! You may be thinking, peanut butter is not for me on some of those selections. For those who do like peanut butter, why not SPICE it up with some pumpkin flavor?! I found this item in Christmas Tree Shops and immediately bought it. I haven’t been disappointed yet! So far I’ve enjoyed it on my Pumpkin Swirl Bread (above) and with apples as a protein boost.
Bonus: Nature’s Path Pumpkin Raisin Flax cereal
I have to throw in one honorable mention. Nature’s Path Pumpkin Raisin Flax cereal is the truth! I love this cereal. It isn’t seasonal only to Fall, you can find this year-round. Yay! It’s nutritious, not heavily sweetened, and simply good. If you’re not a fan of pumpkin spice, not to worry! This cereal is filled with pepitas (pumpkin seeds). Raisin is the dominant flavor here.
Here’s a list of what else I’m trying during the fall season:
- Thomas Pumpkin Spice English Muffin
- Entenmann Apple Cider Donuts
- Entenmann Pumpkin Spice Poppems (donut holes)
- Sparkling Cider- Apple and Pumpkin Spice (2 separate flavors)
- Apple Cider Snaps (cookies)
- Nonni Pumpkin Spice Biscotti
- Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream (Giant)
- Pumpkin Spice Pirouline Cookies
- Special K PS cereal
- Tazo PS Chai Concentrate
- McCormick Pumpkin Spice & Apple Spices
